In September this site reported that Ryan Flynn had been couchsurfing in Los Angeles under the name "Ryan Roth". As a result of that, Ryan made threatening phone calls to people he suspected took and/or posted his photograph (see Why don’t you learn? at rfinfo.wordpress.com).

In case there was any question as to whether Ryan has been using the false name "Ryan Roth", please refer to Ryan's own websites, which now list his name as "Ryan F. Roth", and his Facebook profile, "Ryan F Roth".

At a very young age, Ryan became interested in global issues, watching them on the BBC and wondering what he could do to solve them, so at 17 years old, when he could, he started traveling to other countries to see first hand what needed to be done.

In 1998, Ryan attended University, studying Law for 2 years and then Psychology for 2 years. Due to his increased humanitarian efforts, and demanding schedule, his involvement became so great that he never completed either degree.

Because of those efforts, he gained experience in various industries and traveled the world a great deal. Ryan has lived on 4 continents and traveled to over 31 countries. He acts more as a modern day liason, bringing together people of commom interest and resources to establish new projects. Having consulted on, while also helping to establish a number of companies and NGO’s, he has positioned himself to easily create and establish his own ventures.

After many years of being involved in anti-trafficking, he started The White Orchid Foundation in 2007 with a number of other board members. The foundation’s purpose is to help rescue children from the sex trade, while providing a safe facility for their journey of rehabilitation and education.

In 2008, Ryan continued creating vehicles to help the humanitarian effort by initiating a series of brands that would make a profit, and help support various NGO’s/projects such as Oceans Watch, A Single Drop, Planktos-Science, and various other projects he wanted to focus on.

There are a number of projects Ryan is currently involved in that all have a common goal in mind; helping his fellow man.

A source has identified Ryan Flynn (by this photograph, edited to remove someone else's face) CouchSurfing in Los Angeles (Beverly Hills) under the alias "Ryan Roth". Ryan has previously had at least one CouchSurfing.com account disabled/deleted for inappropriate behaviour on the site. CouchSurfing.com management have apparently identified whatever new account he has been using and taken appopriate action.

If you have met a "Ryan Roth" in Los Angeles and he sounds like the Ryan Flynn described on this site - running a humanitarian organisation (The White Orchid Foundation), building a school on an island for girls rescued from the sex slave trade in Asia, running a travel company (Our Planet UK), building eco-lodges of spheres in trees (Our Planet Retreats), and/or connected to Intentions 21 - please email rfinfo@webscammers.net (or visit the Contact webscammers.net page) to relate your experience.

This LinkedIn profile was captured around January 2008, citing Raining Logo (confirmed business), TravelBlag (confirmed business), and Living Legends Limited. No references have been found for "Cite Dazurel". It is known that Ryan studied psychology at Southampton. According to the whiteorchid.wordpress.com site, "In 1998, Ryan attended University, studying Law for 2 years and then Psychology for 2 years. I have a few contacts who might help, they have been in the bottled water business for many years, branding, owning etc. Send an inmail to me and we... see more will go from there. Also, by chance I was just in talks about the rights to a Japanese water sources for a new branded bottle of water. Happy to help you connect with the right person.

According to sources, and as evidenced in numerous places on the web, Ryan Flynn has introduced himself to people as a "doctor", or at the very least allowed other people to assume it and not correct them on their mistake.

Ryan had clearly used the Gmail address dr.flynn.r@gmail.com, at some point suggesting "dr" was just a nickname given by people, and later flat out denying that he had anything to do with the name or the email account. The emphatic claim made on the White Orchid Foundation WordPress blog/site:

We would also like to state, he does not operate under the email of dr.flynn.r@gmail.com and does not claim to be a Dr.

We hope this clears things up.

It only makes sense that Ryan would want to distance himself from the use of that email address, or the alleged fraud in pretending to be a doctor, but the particular wording here is curious. Ryan could quite validly claim this to be a true statement (and hence not lying about it), if he does not (anymore) use the address, nor claim to be a doctor, even if he had done so in the past.

The following comments appear attached to an article written by a blogger in Canada, which was apparently the first article written about White Orchid (based on one of Ryan's comments, "More results and less PR. As this is the only artical that has been written, you are saying nothing is better?").

Deborah I must ask how did you come to the conclusion that ryan flynn was a doctor? did he tell you this or did you assume it from his email address?

now he is claiming that he has never used the email address dr.flynn.r@gmail.com and has never claimed to be a doctor but your contact with him is at odds with that isnt it?

Sean, when he initially contacted me, he used the respective initials for it in signing his name, as well as informing me that he was. When I asked for details, he was evasive. He had asked me not to post anything publicly in reference to him being a doctor.
