Raining Logo

Raining Logo was a real business, as confirmed by Ryan's ex business partner. It was while working here that Ryan formed the Living Legends idea.

Ryan began spending more and more time on "Living Legends", and the Raining Logo business suffered as a result. The business was going well enough, but in negotiations with clients, Ryan was overly demanding, expecting that they should pay exorbitant amounts so that he could get rich quick.

His business partner became increasingly annoyed  by Ryan's lack of effort and the problems he was causing the business, and eventually pulled the plug.

The two parted on bad terms, and Ryan to this day owes his ex business partner money lent to him before Ryan fled the UK.

The Ryan Flynn Information site's base address has been changed from http://webscammers.net/rfinfo to http://webscammers.net/ryan-flynn

This could aid people searching for information about "Ryan Flynn", since they will not be entering "rfinfo" as a search term. Hopefully search engine indicies will be updated when they discover the redirects. Meanwhile, the old URLs should redirect to the new address.

There is also a new (though basic) favicon to replace the previous one (which was the Joomla! logo).

A source has identified Ryan Flynn (by this photograph, edited to remove someone else's face) CouchSurfing in Los Angeles (Beverly Hills) under the alias "Ryan Roth". Ryan has previously had at least one CouchSurfing.com account disabled/deleted for inappropriate behaviour on the site. CouchSurfing.com management have apparently identified whatever new account he has been using and taken appopriate action.

Webscammers.net's attention has been drawn to updated 'information' on the main White Orchid Foundation website.

Webscammers is a hate site, by who we are not sure but this does not matter.

In the next few weeks, this will all be dealt with by Scotland Yard, London, UK.

After a long time of just letting things ride out, we are in talks with Scotland Yard, Atlanta PD and Chicargo PD and 2 other police departments.

Below is an extract from the webscammers site.

We would like to say ask anyone who sees that site to really investigate everything that is claimed. Half the links don’t work. Unless you also hate Ryan, they will tell you ‘your a fool’

A direct quote from someone talking with them reads ‘we do not have any hard evidence against Ryan, but we want to put him behind bars’, when asked why? They started accusing that person of being Ryan.

Of course Ryan is an easy target, but who are the people behind these hate sites?

Also, if Ryan had done anything criminal, why has he not been arrested?

Why do sites take down abuse these people create? Because it breaks terms and conditions. Ryan did not break them, but these people have.

The people involved in this on-line hate campaign will be charged with all or some of the following - Liable, Slander, Stalking on-line, Stalking in real life and threats on life. After a series of phone calls which threatened peoples lives.

The "extract from the webscammers site" on the page is actually from the rfinfo.wordpress.com site, and the alleged quote is neither from nor known to webscammers.net. The reference to "abuse" taken down from other sites can only possibly refer to the closure of the furl.net account, for which a complaint had been made (likely by Ryan) about the content. The only publicly visible content at that time was, it is believed, a single link to this site at webscammers.net; a link which appears (or at least has in the past) on Ryan's own site for the White Orchid Foundation. Ryan has had at least one account disabled/deleted on the CouchSurfing.com site for inappropriate behaviour (cross posting across mutiple forums, promoting a commercial interest, etc), and also used the service with at least one false name. CouchSurfing.com management are keen to be notified of any other profiles suspected to be operated by Ryan as he has repeatedly broken the terms and conditions.

Webscammers.net has no knowledge of any threats made to Ryan, other than reading allegations made by Ryan on his own websites. Webscammers.net has thus far not had any direct contact with Ryan - at least not knowing with any certainty. Ryan has not contacted Webscammers.net using his own name, though it appears he may have written a message posing as another person (who mysteriously never replied to the email sent back to them). It is also possible that a message was sent to Ryan, either by email or through a website not known to be controlled by Ryan.

Webscammers.net did post a comment to the White Orchid website on the (so far as can be remembered) Responding to our Critics page:

Please do verify information presented on Webscammers.net with your own research. Webscammers.net has attempted to preserve copies of various sites and pages that are no longer available. Some things are still out in the wild to be found, and you can probably draw a clear enough picture from those.

Webscammers.net has not (yet) been contacted by any authorities, though Ryan's claim will be investigated, and so the police are about to become properly involved.

To recruit 35 Global Nomads.

How?

Each of you will have personal networks and ideas on how to recruit these nomads.

Each of the 27 nomads you will find, will need to be approved by myself, but this is more a formality. Each of you can guage what will be best for the company/project/experience and each of you will now have vested interest for the company to succeed, so pick those people carefully.

I am not stressed about this takeing 10 days, 20 days 40 days etc. I put a time limit on this before, which although a lot of people applied, very few were right for the job.

I suggest avenues such as, craigs list, facebook and myspace, gumtree etc.

Limitations

Remember at no point is anyone allowed to discuss myself or private information about the company, my name is one of those things kept quiet unless needed and approved.

How many people must I recruit?

There is the 27 Global Nomads, of which each of you will be responsible for all 31, divided into teams which you will act like a big brother/sister. Supervisor or someone of a slightly higher station.

This places no limitation on your own travel as a global nomad, you could even decide to all call yourselves chiefs or make up some team names etc, but this is totally up to you.

You will also need to recruit 250, Urban Nomads. 1 Nomad in each city, never more than one in each city. It can actually be a lot more than 250, but we need a network of people who will be able to do the same things as a global nomad, except to travel. They will sample all the products and services int he travel industry, but only for their city. This is how we will get the majority of our content for the site.

The Global Nomads is more about creating a buzz and a cool marketing tool.

Remember, all nomads urband and global must maintain blogs.

Added things.

I will make a private blog site, which all 4 of you can access and contribute to. This will allow you all to keep in touch.

Added salary

If none of you know this already, then you will have what is called a profit share.

5% of all OPO profits will be divided between the 4 of you. This is an added salary/motivation for all of you and something none of you were offered before.

I do not need to offer anyone this profit share, as you guys get to travel extensively for a year and have a great time doing it, while I am stuck working 24/7.

Events

I will be throwing 2 launch events for some other things I am working on shortly, which could be very good to help promote you all looking for global nomads.

Division of profits.

60% of all profits will be given to NGO's and Projects we select, at the end of each year.

Mickey, Alby and I have all met. Carolyn, we have not and neither have Michael and I. We will in time and I am happy yo do video conference as and when I am able.

Why am I so careful about information regarding myself and the company.

There is a small NGO I run and under UK law, you do not need to register as a charity until you receive 5000 sterling in public donations. On the org site, I have linked to people saying bad things about the project and myself, which has no basis. There is now a case against 4 people, who will be charged by Scotland Yard for ;stalking online, stalking in real life, harassment, slander, liable and death threats. My mothers address was placed online, by company address was stalked and we have video evidence and a lot of evidence against these 4 people now.

These people have done these things mainly based on their own understanding of US law and not English.

These people also tried to damage our relationship with SSF Cambodia, which Mickey was at, while they tried to affect us.

I have been helping Vichetr for some time and with Mickey there at the time also, it was just ludicrous that these people tried to affect us.

There is also no reasoning with these people, which I have tried. Anyone who does not agree with them are attacked and called, stupid, blind etc.

So this should give you a little more understanding to why I am so private about everything I do.

We might have 35 T-shirts being given to us by a sponsor in the next few weeks and we already have a major clothing sponsor, which is great.

In an ideal situation, at the end of the first year of the Global Nomads, one or more of you will show a great benefit to the company and I would then like whoever that is, one of you or someone else who is a passionate traveller, to take over more responsibility in the company.

What next?

Once the Nomads have been selected, I will then be able to move onto the next stage, and it will then be a short time until you all leave on your various adventures.

Also, I would prefer it, if each of you were in different continents to eachother, during your trips. It might overlap, but I would like this to make sure if I am not able to fix a situation with one of the nomads, one of you are close by – Hospital, problems etc.

None of you need to reference OPO.

Additional Streams of income and benefits

Our Planet Retreats is doing very well, if any of you can prove you have shown someone the site, or they have referenced your name on buying shares, you will receive 1 free share for every ten shares sold or 10% commission, which ever you would prefer. As people have been buying 10 and 20 shares at a time, this could be good for all of you.

You will also be able to spend 2 months of the year at the retreats, if you so desire, free of charge.

I hope the structure of this letter has been ok, I have said all that I wanted to, but maybe it has bounced around a lot, which I apologise for, but thats how my head works.

If only I had found this sooner hahaha!

I wont go into too much detail (It takes about half an hour to tell this story outloud and I've done that about 10,000 times since this happened!)

I met Ryan outside a hostel in Paris in the spring of 2007. He claimed he saved children from the sex trade in south-east asia (which naturally captured everyone's interest since there's no WAY anyone would/could lie about something like THAT right?). We stayed in the same room, ate breakfast together, went to bars, cooked meals and after several days of hanging out constantly (I was fascinated by this guy, everyone was) his story about saving children, earning his money from playing pool/starting a magazine/knowing things about 'hedge funds'/his LivingLegends website, his dealings with Burma (thats right) only added to how stupid we all felt in hindsight. Every question you could possibly ask this guy, no matter how deep, was quickly, calmly and intelligently answered.
(lookinging back on it, Ryan is most likely some boarding school kid who flipped out, ran away from home and has lived off a combination of poor, sweet, gullable fools and daddy's credit card)

He eventually got busted when I asked him about the 'hedge funds' thing again in front of a guy called Sean that actually worked in trading. I was taken to one side and explained how everything he just said was bullshit, the 'stab wound' in his arm is identcal to Sean's (often they insert a plate after a breakage from, say, a snowboarding accident) and that I probably shouldn't go to Thailand with him in 4 days time like we were about to...

Sean basically saved my fucking life. That night, Ryan crept into Sean's room (we never found out what he was gonna do) Sean wakes up, causes a scene, hostel manager comes in and asks "who the fuck are you? you're not a paying guest, etc.." (turns out that first night I met him he was just waiting for me to go back to my room to sleep so he could let himself in, claim a bunk and free brekfast for the next 3 days). Ryan being Ryan, he managed to persuade the French hostel manager to let him stay the night until he could clear everything up (flee) in the morning. Gotta love that British charm.

It looked particularly dodgy when it turned out he he had no passport (which always made me wonder about the Thailand thing) refused to have his picture taken EVER (he claimed he was just shy the whole time) and the 'book' he claimed to be writing turned out to be a text book on south-east asia (hence how he knew everything about the geography of burma/history of thailand/etc, etc).

Next moring, me and the girl who had be hanging out of him woke up, I retrieved the 50 Euros I lent to him (thats right, the "minimum donation to help the kids" he wont mention over the internet), I took my coat back that I lent him (he was living out of a t-shirt), we calmly walked out of the hostel, told him we'd be right back, turned the corner and got the FUCK out of there. We literally ran 300 yards to the metro coz at this point nobody knew if he was dangerous or not.

I had to spend an extra 3 nights in Paris just trying to digest what just happened. I cant stress this enough: I'm not stupid, it only looks that way when I tell it back like this, at the time EVERYONE believed him. I later learned that if you ever wanna fool somebody into believeing anything you say, tell the biggest lie first: tell someone you save children from the sex trade and they'll choose to believe you or not, if they do (coz of course, what kind of psycho would LIE) anything you say after that just seems...logical.

Ryan is a far more effective con-artist in person than online.
I spent months trying to track him down over the net, but after just a couple of run-ins on couchsurfing.com I gave up (his white-orchid site wasn't displaying my questions) until I typed his name into google and found this site randomly today.
Feel free to post this if you think it'll help the next poor sod avoid to him. I hope you expose this guy until he has nowhere left to hide.
